The Super Mario Bros. theme from the old NES, without a doubt the most memorable video game theme song in the history of video games, played on the theremin.
I made this video mainly because I wanted to say "hi, i'm still here," but also to let everyone know I'm working on a new project and I'm in need of your support in order to complete it. Please visit my youtube page and read my profile for more information.
In this video, I passed the theremin signal through the very awesome distortion plugin, iZotope Trash.
If you are new to the theremin, please learn about it. There is tons of info out there on the web. It's really a fascinating instrument and worth the time to check it out.
Long live Prof. Leon Theremin and Dr. Robert Moog!
In this video : Randy George - Moog Etherwave Pro Theremin
lol i don't normally comment on this kinda crap but i felt urged to express my opinion here, it sounded like crap!!! compared to other theramin tunes this is just headache inducing.
the only thing more sad than someone 'hate commenting' must be someone that has nothing better to do than whine about it
don't hate comment man.... its pretty sad.... and so what if he plays music in background, its to compare his to the real thing........so yeah don't hate comment.....
it sends out a magnetic field, and thats how it pics up your hand gestures the shape your hand makes when it passes through the field changes the tone it makes
what the hell is that thing? does it work off of hand gestures? how does it know what hand gesture you're making? What does it send out to revieve this information?
