it was really ed gins fault he was insane, his mom didn't let him make any friends so he was extremely unsocialized his dad,brother and mom were the only people he had, so when they all died he was alone, his mom was the last to die (of a stroke) he was alone so he dug up graves of woman that resembled his mom, then he began killing people.

If anyone is interested in seeing a relly fucked up movie.....two words...Cannibal holocaust...Its got everything decap, Impailings, forced abortions, head bashing, wangs being cut off, animal cruelity, rape and oh yea....cannibalism. The director was actually charged with murder, because after the movie was show he told the actors to leave the country, this was wayyy before the blair witch and a million times better. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!!! Check it out! Amazing!

Agreed, Deranged is awesome, Cannibal Holocaust was better. Cannibal Ferox is along the same lines as well, a little more straight forward. I suggest checking that one out as soon as your finished with Holocaust.

Preview for the film "Deranged," from 1974. This film is heavily based on the exploits of Wisconsin serial killer/maniac Ed Gein (look up Gein if you truly need to be disturbed). Released in 1974, this film has, for some reason, been largely overshadowed by "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," also from 1974 but much more loosely based on Ed Gein's acts. While both films are great, "Chainsaw" is much farther from reality. That said, "Deranged" is a terrific, scary film and should be tracked down by any fan of the horror genre. The dinner party scene in "Deranhged," scene briefly in this preview and ironically very similar to the climactic scene in "Chainsaw," is very effective and frightening.
