Welcome to Super-Kamiokande official Homepage.

Super-Kamiokande is a 50,000 ton water Cherenkov detector, which started observation in 1996 after 5 year of construction. The detector is used cooperation with about 120 researchers from 32 collaboration institutes in Japan, United States, Korea, China and Poland.
